Definitions

The websites 'www.cobini.com' and 'www.cobini-shop.com' (and sub-domains such as 'secure.cobini.com', 'home.cobini-shop.com' etc.) are operated by Cobini Limited, a company registered in England (company number 07008957) whose registered address is: 21 St Thomas Street, Bristol, BS1 6JS, referred to here as 'we' or 'us' ('our' is interpreted accordingly).

Individuals and organisations (referred to here as our 'Customers') may set up a website or web-page(s) on our websites (e.g. 'my-advert-page.cobini-shop.com') referred to here as 'shops', where their users can view, create and respond to advertisements.

Providing Information

When you register with us, we collect information about you (e.g. name, contact details etc.).

In addition to this, we may collect information about your use of our websites by using 'cookies'. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer's hard drive by your web browser when you visit websites. Cookies allow our web server to identify your computer and to collect details about your visit (e.g. which of our web pages you visit, how long you spend on each page etc.). Dealing with your Information

To provide our service we may need to provide your email address and username to Shops where you submit or respond to advertisements. We or a Shop may contact you in relation to an advertisement you have submitted. We may also, from time to time, email you details of new capabilities in our product, offers, events etc. If you do not want to receive these emails please contact Us.

We will not pass your personal information to any third party without your consent. We may, from time to time, make anonymous statistical information available to third parties for marketing purposes.

Whilst we take reasonable precautions to safeguard your information and prevent unauthorised access to it, we will accept no liability for any loss or damage you may suffer if your information is stolen and misused as a result of any unauthorised or illegal access.

If you register, submit an advertisement, contact an advertiser or perform any other action using false information or impersonating another party, we may pass your information to that party and/or any law enforcement agency.

When you are Logged in

If you submit an advertisement and we publish it on the website, we will display your user name on our website but no other personal information will be shown. If you include any personal details such as your email address, phone number, etc as part of an advertisement this information will be visible to anyone visiting our website, and may also be picked up by automated programs that scan websites looking for such information.

We will disclose your user name when you contact a seller or when a seller contacts you via our website in response to an advertisement. Messages sent by you to other users of our website will be forwarded 'as-is'; we perform no checks on the content of these messages e.g. to identify and remove email addresses, telephone numbers, etc.

When you are not Logged In

If you are not Logged in to Cobini and instead use your email address to identify yourself when you post an ad, contact an advertiser, or for certain other actions your email address will be visible to other users.

Disclosure

We reserve the right to access and disclose your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations and to protect ourselves, our Customers and other users. We will, at your request, provide you with a copy of any personal information that we are holding about you.

General

If we change our Privacy Policy, we will post the changes here. However, if we decide to make any material changes to the way we treat your personal information, we will ask for your consent first.
